One of the "perks" of serving as President of the American Land Title Association is the opportunity to choose which state association conventions to attend. And the 100th convention of OLTA is definitely on my list! Throughout this year, all around the country, I have been privileged to tell the story of the title industry and our important place in the American economy. And, as incredible as it sounds, many in our industry are hearing it for the first time!
We are at a unique time and place in the title industry. Never before has it been more important for our industry partners to understand the interlinking parts of what we do. Perhaps never again, in our lifetime, will we find ourselves in a better position to influence the direction, prestige and character of our industry. And it starts by spreading the word.
I look forward to seeing you at the Ohio Land Title Association Annual Convention. I am excited for you to hear about the "traditional values" movement that is sweeping our industry.
As an agent myself, I know the time and sacrifice required to be away from the office. But I also know the immense dividend that is received when we band together in common purpose to enlighten and encourage one another.
